Happy 57th Birthday to my Twin Sisters

Hello my blogging Family and Friends. I hope you are still enjoying the festive season and that Christmas Day proved to be a great joy to you and yours - especially if Santa brought all the right kind of goodies on his visit!

I am still running behind, I will show all my Christmas cards shortly, I just wanted to share the card(s) I created for my sisters whose birthday was on 14th December.

Here they are:

They are similar and have a few little differences - just like their namesakes who are identical twins with lots of different idiosyncrasies!
The base is made from Kaisercraft weave card stock which I cut in half. On the front of the card I used A Spellbinders die (details below) and my new Minc machine.
There is a great video from Becca Feeken on using your dies with a laser printer before using your Minc machine. See below.

On this occasion though I just created the sentiment on my laptop, printed it on our laser printer then used the Light pink foil in my new Minc Machine!

On the inside of the cards I used the 12 x 12 Precious Moments Paper pad by Kaisercraft. I used the ECD Happy Birthday Pop-up die and the Agatha edges die to decorate the inside.
The sentiments I made on my computer (or handwrote) and cut out using Spellbinders dies.

Thank you for making the time to pop on by during this busy time, I appreciate you dropping in to read my blog.

Birthday Cards for Tiffany & Marley

Hello my friends. Gracious I had no idea it had been so long since my last posting. I am way way behind. I have been doing crafty bits and pieces just not making time to post them here for you to see.

Case in point are the two cards I made for my step-daughter Tiffany and our lovely granddaughter Marley, for their Birthdays in October would you believe!!!!

I used my Elizabeth Crafts Design dies for these two cards - take a look.

I used some Basic Grey and some American Craft papers to make these cards.

I've got more photos that show some of the details: Let's take a look at Tiffany's card first.

I used the design on the packaging of the dies to help me make the pocket tagged card. I printed off a picture I had of Tiff and popped that inside the pocket. We also added some Euros as she was taking a trip to Europe in November and the little extra spending money would have been helpful.

Here you can see the back and the front of the card. I found this lovely Ribbon at Spotlight ages ago and it seemed perfect for the job!

Here's Marley's card:

I used another of the dies to create this look, the round sentiment is a Cottage Cutz die.
Ribbon was from Really Reasonable Ribbon and Spotlight.
Papers are American Craft with some scraps from my stash thrown in too.

... and here's the front and back of Marley's card.

Thanks for stopping by to read today's posting. I know I say this quite a bit and I'll say it again .... I'll try not to leave it so long before I post again!!
