A Pretty Poinsettia and Striplet card

Hello, how are you doing?

Today's card is another Christmas Card - really simple to make and very pretty. I made a few all in different colours too!

Here is the red version:

I used American Crafts white card stock for the base of my card, then used the mixed colour pack for the backgrounds and poinsettia.

I cut a mat in white using a Sue Wilson Rectangle Double Pierced die for the front of the card which I then cut using the Lattice Heart Striplet die on the left side of the mat and backed with the coloured card.

I made the Poinsettia flower using the same coloured card as used previously, the Sue Wilson stamp which I heat embossed using clear powder and cut out with the matching Sue Wilson classic poinsettia die, I manipulated the leaves with my fingers to add a little shape and dimension, then added a pearl at the centre of the flower.

I cut out the flourish with a Cheery Lynn die in white and added that before sticking the Poinsettia flower onto the top of the card.

I finally added the sentiment using an Elizabeth Crafts Design die.

Here are a few more cards that I made in the same design but in different colours!

Green and Cream Vellum flower Birthday Card

Hi, how are you today? The Card I am showing you today was inspired by a lady called Bhana who runs great workshops at the Sunrise Crafts UK store. She blogs regularly sharing her cards. This design is one of hers.

Here is my version of her card:

I made the card base using white American Crafts cardstock. I cut a rectangle from the same type of cardstock and embossed it using the Sue Wilson A4 Leafy Montage. Then making a frame (leaving some space on the left side for some ribbon later) from the Double Pierced die ready to be placed on top with foam tape to add some dimension.

You can better see the embossing of the card on this image.

I used the Heartfelt Creations Fleur Borders and Pockets die cutting out the piece from a shiny piece of cream cardstock that I had in my stash.

I tucked this under the frame at the top on the left.

I did the same using the second of the two dies, adding this to the previously made frame as well on the bottom right.

I stamped the Sue Wilson Orange Blossom using a versa ink pad and heat embossed it using white powder. I cut them out with the matching Sue Wilson die, turned them over and coloured them with a dauber and a Bamboo Leaves Memento ink pad. I layered them, shaped them and then added them to the centre of the card.

I had previously made up a series of the little Hummingbirds using the Heartfelt Creations Botanic Orchid stamps and dies.

I coloured them with distress ink and a water brush. I added on to this card.

I added a sentiment that I have had it ages and finally a few cream pearls. On the left side I added a piece of organza ribbon tying it into a bow.

.... and there you have it. The main ingredients I used to make this card were:

I hope you like today's card. If you have a minute, have a look at the Sunrise Crafts UK blog gallery for some inspiration.

A Happy Birthday Card in Green and White

Hello, as promised here is the almost Twin of yesterday's card. This time the card is for a Happy Birthday!

Here's the card:

You can see the resemblance to yesterday's card - I made them together so not surprising really.

I made it in almost the same way I as I did with yesterday's card - a close up of the centre - I didn't use Mirror Card this time.

I used different leaves this time. I used the Heartfelt Creations Birds and Blooms stamps and dies, colouring them with green distressed inks

The main ingredients that I used to make this card were:
