A Pink and White woven Birthday Card

Hello my blogging family and friends I hope your Thursday is going or has gone well. My this week has just flown ... in fact this month seems to be going at the fastest rate of knots.

Today's card is another vision in pink, here it is ...

I made the base of the card first using white American Crafts cardstock. Then used a Sue Wilson Noble collection ornate pierced squares die to make the frame in pink and white.

To make the weaved layer I used the scraps that were made when I used the Sue Wilson striped weaving die for another card. Like any crafter you hate to throw stuff away and I said I could use those pieces ... and this time I did!
Once all those pieces were woven together I used foam tape between that layer and the frame, then trimmed the woven layer to fit so there was no overlapping.

In the centre I added the Sue Wilson Best Wishes sentiment, placed it on an oval cut in white and inked the edges using a pink ink pad, sticking a little rhinestone over the i of wishes.

In the right hand corner of the card, I added a couple of Spellbinders leaves, some pink open net Tulle and a mixture of Petaloo flowers and one flower I made using a quilling technique.

I generated a sentiment for inside the card and printed it off on my computer then cut it out with a Sue Wilson die.

A Blue and Cream woven Happy Birthday Card

Hello! Trust all is well with you and yours.

As you can tell I have been playing with Sue Wilson's Weaving Collection of dies and today's card is no exception.

Here it is:

I used American Crafts white Cardstock and the Sue Wilson largest Noble Ornate Pierced Rectangle die. Then I used the Sue Wilson classic weaving die and cream cardstock then glued blue strips I cut using the striped weaving die.

Once the weaving was done, I created the frame using the Noble die again in cream and blue, then used foam tape to layer it on top of the woven layer.

I just cut the woven layer to fit underneath the frame.

I used the Sue Wilson pierced flag dies to cut the strip onto which I added the sentiment cutting it with an Elizabeth Crafts Design "Happy Birthday" die.

I added some cream tulle, Sue Wilson quilted leaves and a Petaloo flower to the right hand side of the card.

I kept the inside of the card very simple. I added a weaving strip near the fold to match the front of the card.
Then in blue I used the Sue Wilson Happy Birthday die  for the central sentiment.

Happy Birthday (Lilac Stained Glass Window Technique) Card

Hi my blogging friends and family, how are you? I hope you are looking forward to/are having a GREAT weekend. I hope to spend some time in one of my favourite places tomorrow - yep! you've guessed it - my crafting space!

Here is another of the "Stained Glass Window" technique cards I said I'd be showing you: this time a square shape using Sue Wilson Italian and Noble Collection dies.

I used American Crafts cardstock pack with white to make this card.

The central medallion was made using the Sue Wilson (Creative Expressions) Calabria die and the Spellbinders Grand Circle smallest die, then backed with clear acetate and adding Art Institute glue and glitter to the back. Once dry the beautiful colours just twinkle through the die cut. on the front.

I cut up some Pearl ribbon into little rows of three pearls, adding them at each corner of the card.

In the bottom left corner of the card I added some Lilac Tulle, a few white beaded strands and a Purple flower I made from a Prima collection of flower bits that I found in my stash.

The main ingredients that I used to make this card:
