An ECD Heart Pivot Card

How are you today? Like most of us who are back at work today, the Easter Break already seems a distant memory. Time seemingly goes faster and faster these days especially when you pack so much into it.

Yes today I have another Elizabeth Craft Design's card - This time using the Heart Pivot die. Take a look ....

This is such a pretty card - even if I say so myself. It came out really well.

Like the others of its type I used A4 Quill white 210gsm cardstock from Office works as the base.

The design paper is from the First Edition Premium paper pad I have used before (shown below in my ingredients).

I used the Katie label die for the sentiment on the front of the card, a couple of Yellow Critter Butterflies that I bought from Spotlight, a flower from my stash (Top Right) and a few pearls I coloured with my Copic sketch pens.

As you can see I kept the inside of the card quite simple.

.. and here you see the "Birds Eye View" of how the card folds.

Here are the main ingredients that I used to make this card:

Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my card - 3 cards in three days - Wow!

A Butterfly Pivot Card

Hello my blogging friends. I hope you are enjoying your Easter Monday.
Another card for you, again another using my new Elizabeth Crafts dies - I love these dies they make card making projects so easy and they look lovely when they are completed.

Here's my Card:

I used Quill 210 gsm card stock as my base and then used First Edition Premium Boho Chic 12 x 12 Paper pad.

I used a few scraps and a Happy Birthday gold peel-off - these are definitely coming back into fashion again!

I used the smallest oval die from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Oval Accordion die set to cut pieces from the design paper.

On the inside of my card I kept it really clean and simple, using strips of the design paper and the label dies that come with the set.

A "Bird's Eye View" taken from the top so you can see the fold of the card and how this pivots - such a clever design.

... and there we have my card for today.
Here are the main ingredients I used to make my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today to see my card.

An ECD Katie Label Pivot Card

Happy Easter everyone. I hope you have the opportunity to celebrate this time in a meaningful way to you. Whether that's taking time to follow your beliefs or taking time to be with family and friends or just taking time to relax.
At long last these few days have given me an opportunity to get into my craft room and play with some of my new Elizabeth Craft Design Dies. It's been a while. I have been working overseas and then came back to a full in-tray and a long list of priorities.
It has been brilliant to take a bit of time and re-acquaint myself with my Sizzix big shot!!

My first card is one that uses the Katie Label Pivot Card ... take a look.

Here is the front of my card. I used Firts Edition 12 x 12 Hideaway Premium paper pad.

I also used some scraps for the matted layers and a few Dragonfly embellishments that I have had for more years than I really wish to remember!!!

The base card is some quill 210gsm white card stock.

Here is the inside of the card. I used a Martha Stewart Eyelet Lace round the page punch for the strip on the right side of the inside of the card.

I took this photo by looking down on the opened card so you can see how the pivot framework works

Here are the main ingredients I used to make this card:

Thanks for stopping by and having a look at my card from today, I hope you are having a great Easter.
