A Gold and White oval medallion Christmas Card

Hello how are you today? I have another Christmas Card to show you today. It is yet another inspired by the fabulous Sue Wilson. I am using her dies to make it.

Here it is:

I began with a white card stock base for the card onto which I cut a gold metallic piece of card stock from an American Crafts 12 x 12 as the first matted layer. On the next white card stock mat I pierced the edge and laid this piece of card on top.

For the next layer I cut out an oval aperture from another piece of white card stock using one of the Sue Wilson Austrian collection dies. This piece I then ran through my Grand Caliber using the rows of bows A4 embossing folder. Then around the cut edge I stuck an oval ring of white card stock using the Austrian collection dies again.

On the piece that was cut from the top layer I stamped the "Ironworks" die onto it with a perfect medium pad and then dusted it with gold perfect pearls powder. Then sprayed it with a fixative spray so that it wouldn't smudge. I then glued this into the aperture and then cut out the tag stamping it with a JRS stamps and memento tuxedo black ink and then inking the edges with an antique linen distressed ink pad. I attached it onto the centre of the card using foam tape.

I created the flower using the Sue Wilson filigree bow die, adding leaves die cut from more white cards stock.

The small butterfly was made using an Elizabeth Craft Design die and more of the gold metallic card stock.

Here are the main ingredients that I used to make this card:
