A rectangle Holly and Poinsettia Christmas Card

Hello how's your weekend going? It's been another warm one today and we had thunder rumbling for a little while with a few drops of rain. One of the hottest days in November for 5 years was what was reported on the news this evening!

I have a quick card to show you today:

I created the top layer first of white card stock, then put it through an Interlocking circles embossing folder and rounded the corners. I then layered this onto a black piece of card stock (Kaisercraft Liquorice).

Then I created the poinsettia flowers from red (scarlet) and black (liquorice) card stock and using Sue Wilson Classic and Mosaic poinsettia dies, placing a pearl at their centres. I also added a couple of Petite vinery leaves for dimension cut from more white card stock.

Then I cut a strip of Holly using the Spellbinders Holly accents die with the black card stock, which I layered under a strip of red card stock. On the top of this strip I added a pierced piece of white card stock, my sentiment stamped with memento tuxedo black ink was placed on top of that with some red pearls as an additional embellishment.
Finally all of this was then added to a prepared base of red and white card stock that had also been paper pierced.

.... and there you have it.

Here are the main ingredients that I used to make this card:

Thanks for stopping by to look at my card today - I hope you have a brilliant remainder of the weekend
