A Simple Christmas card

Hello how're you doing? I hope you are having a great day.
I have a relatively simple Christmas card to show you today. Mind you everything is simple if you have the right tools!

Here is my card:

I cut a piece of white stock that was 6mm (1/4inch) greater than the size of the Sue Wilson Spanish Collection background die. Then I cut out and embossed the card stock with the die. Then glued it to a piece of scarlet Kaisercraft weave card stock which was 3mm (1/8th inch) larger on all edges.

Then I glued these two layers to a piece of white card stock that was 6mm (1/4 inch) larger on all edges. Then finally layered these layers on top of a folded piece of white card stock in half that was 6mm (1/4 inch) larger.

I added the central medallion with the sentiment using a Sue Wilson border die, a JustRite stamp and a Tuxedo Black ink pad. I added a strip of scarlet card stock and then put the medallion on top finishing off with a few white flat backed pearls.

Then on the bottom left of the card I added a flower and some faux quilled leaves. Finally I used some Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent Berry Red glue to make the pearls around the edge of the card and a sticker from a pack I bought at Michaels when I was in the states recently.

..... and there you have it!

The main ingredients that I used to make my card:

Thank you for stopping by today and having a look at my posting. I hope you like this card
