Knock Knock - it's a Christmas Card

Hello everyone from a VERY hot day here in NSW Australia. Our outside Thermometer registered 42.5 degrees and they say tomorrow (Sunday) will be hotter still. Well I will be doing all I can to stay cool. For those of you in colder climes I apologise for "rubbing it in". We have been looking at all the snow in New York and we will be there ourselves in early December - so we'd better make sure we have our winter gear with us!! Regardless of where you are I hope you are having a great weekend.

Today's card is another Christmas card. I used Bo Bunny's 12 x 12 Avenue paper. As soon as I saw it I knew exactly the card I wanted to make. So here it is:

I cut the card stock to a reasonable size then punched the edges with a Martha Stewart punch, adding some red strips from my stash behind so that you could see the pattern better.

I used a red peel-off for the sentiment and used a Spellbinders die for the base of the sentiment which I placed at the top of the card.

I cut a lot of Holly leaves from the Sue Wilson Holly Accessory dies in different coloured Green cardstock - most of it from my scraps basket in my stash, I arranged them to look like a wreath.

I then created a triple fold bow in red ribbon which I added at the base of the wreath.

And there we have it. I kept the inside pretty plain with a stamped sentiment inside. I added a piece of ribbon at the side to cover the join between the front and back of the base card made from white card stock

The main ingredients I used to make this card:

Thanks for stopping by to read today's post. I hope you like this card

    1. Hi Pearl. It's so lovely receiving your comments - Thank You x
We are really so lucky to have the climate we do, the same, I am sure can be said for where you are in Queensland; although as I write this there are a few stormy grumbles happening in the heavens. I think I need to, quite literally, watch this space ha! ... and there comes the rain!
